In a follow up to last month’s New York Times Article, “52 Places to Go in 2018,” Jada Yuan, a New York Times travel writer, will be traveling to each and every place on this year’s list. Her second stop – Chattanooga , Tennessee, who was named No. 25 on the list.
Check out her write up “Chattanooga Is Changing. But Its Charms Remain.” in which Jada states, “Every time I go to a new place, I play a game where I ask myself if I could live there rather than New York City. The answer is usually no, but Chattanooga surprised me. For all its contradictions, every day I was there, I liked the city more: the views, the people, the phenomenal coffee shops — even the internet, which proved to be life-changing (in 40 minutes I uploaded 1,000 photos that had been stuck in my queue for days).”
It’s always exciting to see a few of our favorite friends, clients, & projects make it into the New York Times. Shout out to the Flying Squirrel Bar – “an eternal hot spot that has a lit-up wooden boat hanging from its ceiling,” The Dwell Hotel, “the city’s only boutique offering and an Art Deco gem,” and our friends over at Chattanooga Public Art, cause “Public art is impressive and everywhere.”
We love you Chattanooga – keep on rockin’ it.
