Taqueria Jalisco

Tinker Ma After years working out of a food truck and a small space across the street downtown, the owners of Taqueria Jalisco were ready for a light, bright space that they could make their own. Located on an infill site on the industrial edge of Chattanooga’s Southside, the new restaurant protects itself from the southern sun, focusing outdoor dining on the north and east sides of the building. Half-height garage doors on the eastern bar top allow the space to open to the outdoors. A mix of fixed and moveable seating allows the restaurant to easily respond to groups of all sizes. A modern kitchen provides the chef and her team the space and storage needed to feed the customers of the now bustling restaurant.
