Tennessee National Golf and Country Club

Loudon, Tennessee

Tennessee National Golf Club has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the top 10 golf courses in Tennessee. The course offers stunning views of Watts Bar Lake and features five holes playing alongside or across the water.

Tinker Ma designed a 15,000 square foot clubhouse and pro shop, complete with a full-service restaurant and bar, as an integral part of the TN National's expansive riverfront master plan. The architectural design is heavily influenced by its surroundings in the Tennessee Valley and aims to promote social connection. Outdoor seating provides full views of the golf course. Additionally, an outdoor social terrace and a separate bar offer the perfect space for casual or formal events. Inside the clubhouse, there are multiple areas to gather. A feature fireplace separates the bar from the main dining area, and a wine room artfully showcases the wine selection available to members and guests. On the exterior, the design incorporates silos, indigenous plant species, and natural materials found in the region.
