Since 2019, Tinker Ma has been involved in a long-term development project located in Chattanooga along the Tennessee River. This mixed-use development is set to become Chattanooga’s next great neighborhood. It will maintain roughly 40 acres of land for industrial use and will convert approximately 70 acres into a mixed- use, high-density urban core. In total, the project should take about 20 years to be completely built out, and once finished, it will essentially double the downtown area for Chattanooga. In the first 10 years, the developers envision about 152,000 square feet of office, 450 residential units and 100,000 square feet of retail and dining space. Total construction costs are expected to be over $3 billion.
