The Edwin
Chattanooga, TN
This unique boutique hotel is located at the south end of Chattanooga’s historic Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. The five-story hotel features 90 custom guestrooms and a 3,000 sf private residence.
The upscale hotel provides guests a rooftop bar, rooftop pool, and fitness area with beautiful views of the Tennessee River and downtown Chattanooga. The ground-floor amenities include a market and luxury spa as well as a restaurant and bar with outdoor seating.
The hotel includes more than 1,600 sf of conference space with rooms overlooking the Hunter Museum of American Art, a full kitchen and a library featuring a fireplace.
We worked with The Edwin Hotel owner, city officials and local foundations in a public/private partnership to permanently close and redevelop a block of Walnut Street to create a public plaza in front of the hotel. This plaza is an extension of the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge and a vital connector to the popular Tennessee Riverwalk, a linear park stretching for miles along the river.
