High Point Climbing Lincoln Mill

High Point Climbing and Fitness Lincoln Mill is a bouldering only facility specifically designed to allow climbers to safely climb equipment free. Housed inside a former cotton factory listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 11,000 square foot renovation is one of many that has revitalized the once neglected historical area.   

Tinker Ma assisted with the site selection, choosing the historic location and drawing interior design inspiration from the era’s Art Deco movement. The design team preserved the original structure, windows, and floors and added new spaces to serve guests and climbers. Custom millwork highlights the entry and retail shop. A mezzanine allows guests to work remotely while overlooking the gym. Newly added restrooms, storage space, and a front desk increase the functionality of the space.

Tinker Ma has been pleased to help the Chattanooga-based company expand throughout the southeast and support the growing climbing community throughout the region. The gym at Lincoln Mill is High Point’s second facility in Huntsville and the company’s seventh location in the region.

Huntsville’s Lincoln Mill facility offers a unique experience that perfectly complements the original location in the city center. State-of-the-art hydraulically adjustable training walls allow climbers to change the angle of the wall to either intensify or reduce the difficulty, maximizing their training.
